Responsibility charter – Delivery personnel
1. Respect for products
Ensure that products are handled with care and in compliance with the hygiene and safety standards required by the producer. Companies undertake to comply with current health and safety standards for transporting food products in complete safety (e.g. refrigerated vehicles if necessary). They must train their delivery personnel in hygienic practices, including the safe handling of fresh produce. Use vehicles adapted for sensitive products (fresh, frozen or fragile).
2. Meeting deadlines
Undertake to respect delivery deadlines announced to growers and customers. Inform Farm-Good and the customer in the event of delays or incidents. In the event of major unforeseen events (weather conditions, natural disasters, road accidents, etc.), the company must inform Farm-Good as soon as possible to minimize the impact on the customer. Farm-Good and the company can work together to organize alternative solutions.
3. Transparency and Communication
Maintain seamless communication with Farm-Good to track deliveries. Ensure real-time tracking of parcels, with notifications for customers and growers.
4. Data confidentiality
Protect the personal data of customers and producers. Do not share customer or product information with unauthorized third parties.
5. Ecological responsibility
Encourage sustainable delivery practices (reduce carbon footprint, consolidate deliveries, optimize routes). Use reusable or recyclable packaging materials.
6. Dispute Resolution
Handle complaints professionally and in collaboration with Farm-Good, via chat or e-mail. Undertake to compensate for loss or damage due to delivery.
7. Subcontracting commitments
Inform Farm-Good if subcontractors are involved and guarantee that they also respect this charter and that each subcontractor is declared and registered for social insurance in accordance with the laws of the country concerned.
8. Compliance with the Platform Access Conditions
Respect all access conditions, including regular updates of this charter. Ensure that delivery personnel are familiar with Farm-Good policies and understand expectations in terms of quality and service.
9. Insurance and risk coverage
Maintain valid insurance covering risks related to deliveries (damage, loss). Inform Farm-Good of any changes to insurance policies relating to deliveries.
10. Safety measures
Ensure that all delivery personnel are trained in safety standards, particularly when handling food products. Take precautions to ensure the safety of drivers and customers during deliveries.
11. Social responsibility
Respect employee rights and promote ethical practices (safe working conditions, reasonable hours, fair compensation). Foster a culture of respect and collaboration within the delivery team.
12. Farm-Good Commission
Farm-Good takes a 10% commission on each delivery made by partner companies, in exchange for visibility on the platform, additional business opportunities, and trade management services. Farm-Good reserves the right to adapt these conditions and the percentage of commission charged, and will inform its delivery partners of any changes.
13. Right to withdraw
Each partner delivery company has the right to leave the farm-good.com platform with one week’s notice, at no additional cost or penalty. To initiate this termination, the company must notify Farm-Good in writing, respecting the deadline to ensure an orderly transition.
14. Obligation to Accept Orders
Any delivery company receiving a delivery request via the farm-good.com platform is obliged to accept it and make the delivery. Companies may not refuse an order once it has been received, except in cases of force majeure or proven incapacity, to be notified immediately to Farm-Good, the seller (producer) and the customer. Failure to comply with this obligation may result in penalties and affect the partnership status with Farm-Good.
15. Consequences of non-compliance
In the event of repeated breaches of this charter (non-acceptance of orders, unjustified delays, repeated damage to products, etc.), Farm-Good reserves the right to suspend or terminate the partnership.
16. Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
Delivery companies will be periodically assessed on their performance, particularly in terms of punctuality, quality of service and customer satisfaction. These assessments will be used to maintain high standards on the platform. Partners will receive detailed feedback and may be asked to improve certain aspects of their service if necessary.
17. Renewal and Revision of the Charter
Farm-Good reserves the right to update this charter to adapt to the needs of the platform and its users. Companies will be informed of any modifications, and their continuity as partners will imply their acceptance of the new conditions.
18. Incident and Returns Management
In the event of an incident during delivery (damaged product, wrong address, etc.), the company must inform Farm-Good and the customer immediately via chat. Delivery companies must also coordinate with Farm-Good to manage product returns or replacements, respecting the platform’s instructions.
19. Obligation of Discretion and Commercial Confidentiality
Delivery companies undertake not to divulge any confidential information concerning Farm-Good’s operations, customers or producers. This charter strengthens the confidence of customers and producers in the platform’s delivery service. Delivery companies undertake to respect it by registering and checking the box “I agree with the delivery company charter” on Farm-Good.com.
